PhD in Urban Mobility, Transport and Territory, a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Development from the University of Guadalajara and a Technical Architect from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She has been a researcher at the Institute of Mobility and Transport of Jalisco (IMTJ), has participated in the Conahcyt basic science project "Accessibility and the transport system in the municipalities of the AMG" and has developed the Academic Postdoctoral Stay proyect (Conahcyt) at the University of Guadalajara "The daily accessibility of older people in metropolitan environments: study of the mobility capacity in the analysis of the opportunities for access to resources in the urban context of the AMG", among others. She is a professor in higher education at several institutions and cofounder of the Caminatorio Collective. Her lines of research are uban mobility and the right to the city, under the analysis of mobility capacity. She is currently studying walkability as a factor of the intrinsic resilience of subjects, to strengthen the functional capacity of older adults in sustainable metropolitan environments.
