Social Psychologist and Master in Urban Mobility, Transport, and Territory from the University of Guadalajara; completed a research stay in the Master’s Program in Psychosocial and Community Intervention at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a stay at the University of Costa Rica. Her research interests include the psychosocial aspects of urban mobility, neighborhood identity, community and citizen participation.
She has participated in various international conferences in both English and Spanish and is the author of scientific articles and book chapters. In public service, she has held positions in the areas of mobility and transport at the Metropolitan Planning Institute of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (IMEPLAN) and the Secretariat of Environment and Territorial Development of the State of Jalisco (SEMADET).
She is currently a lecturer at the University of Guadalajara and co-founder and general secretary of the College of Urban Mobility Professionals of the State of Jalisco, the only institution of its kind in Latin America. In July 2022, she was honored with the Emerging Researcher award by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
